32nd RDTC CME Conference and Past Graduate Reunion 2027
Join us for the 32nd Regional Dermatology Training Center (RDTC) Continuing Medical Education (CME) Conference & Past Graduate Reunion from 13- 15th January 2027. This year’s theme is ‘Global and Tropical Dermatologyin the Age of Misinformation: Challenging Myths, Empowering Communities and Advancing Skin Health.’ This event will be held at the Kuringe Social Hall in Moshi, Tanzania. The CME provides an important opportunity for graduates to improve their skills and learn from speakers from all over the world.
One of the most impressive aspects of the RDTC CME is that it ensures that previous graduates have an opportunity to continue their medical education. The conference is the only one of its kind in the region. Additionally, current students and residents have the opportunity to present their research and seek advice on challenging cases.

She has collaborated with the World Health Organization since 2011, to establish guidelines for the treatment of HIV-associated skin conditions in the developing world.
She has won the American Academy of Dermatology’s Member Making a Difference Award, as well as the most highly cited author in the area of epidemiology in AIDS in 2009.
Her current work centers around Kaposi’s sarcoma, a potentially deadly tumor associated with HIV that first appears on the skin.
Her work has been supported by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the American Skin Association, the Harvard Center for AIDS Research, and the Medical Dermatology Society.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR THE PRESENTATION
1. Presentation to be generated using the PowerPoint software package
2. Star sound runs Window 11 Operating System, Office 2020 on all Laptops
3. Presentation MUST be provided on using USB Memory stick or hard drive. Virus check will be done on star sound laptop.
4. Please have at least one backup of your presentation , either on Email or Google Drive.
5. Please provide Star Sound with the presentation and , if applicable , the video clips in that presentation on the day of presenting
6. Please note no presentation will be allowed emailed on the day of presenting.
7. Slido is available on Star Sound Laptops, please ensure you have your log in details and verification codes to be send device on hand . Please check with organizer if WI-FI is available to ensure your Slido work.
8. Any presentation that needs to be emailed must send 3 days before he conference to congress organizer.
9. All presentation should be uploaded in the venue in breaks.
10. Personal laptops will be allowed to be used if arrangement is made ahead of time.(please be aware Mac Books and international laptops, might cause Flickering. Presenter must allow Technician to make changes to their setting on laptop and assist them with that)
PLEASE TEST YOUR LAPTOP THE DAY BEFORE PRESENTING
When using your own Apple Laptop to present with , please provide the HDMI/C-Type converter needed to connect the laptop to an external screen or projector.
Star Sound Laptops is set on Presenter view, if you would like to add notes. Laser Point in Power Point will be used. Please ask Technician for this feature. If clicker is needed, Star Sound will Provide one on Request.
