Program Description

Master of Medicine in Dermatovenereology is a 4 year programme that provides in-depth training in the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The program encompasses core subjects such as dermatology fundamentals, venereology, clinical practice, pharmacology, and research methodologies, equipping students with essential diagnostic skills, treatment planning abilities, surgical skills and effective patient communication techniques. Graduates can pursue diverse career paths in hospitals, private clinics, research institutions, and academia, with potential for further specialization.

Master of Medicine in Dermatovenerology (MMED)

RDTC is designed for highly qualified medical practitioners and other allied health personnel who are strongly motivated towards a career in Medical Sciences and academic medicine.

Master of Medicine in Dermatovenereology program is run in collaboration with Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College KCMUCo.

Graduates in this course are expected to augment the national need for high level man power requirements which will in turn improve the roles expected of consultant hospitals in teaching, service and research.
